2-Year International Warranty

At Tate Whalun, each timepiece is crafted with precision and care, undergoing thorough inspection and testing before shipment. We stand by the quality of our watches and guarantee they will arrive free from manufacturing defects. If there are any issues, we will repair or replace your watch in accordance with the terms outlined in our complimentary 2-Year Global Warranty, which applies to all Tate Whalun timepieces.

 

WHAT OUR WARRANTY COVERS

The warranty is divided into two main coverage categories:

1. Structural Coverage

We provide long-term protection for the structural elements of every Tate Whalun watch. This includes the watch case, crystal, strap links, watchband, and clasp. These components are covered against any defects or faults in materials or craftsmanship.

2. Mechanical Coverage

We also cover the internal mechanical workings of your watch. This includes the movement, date mechanism, hands, crown (adjustment knob), and the watch’s overall ability to accurately keep time.

ADDITIONAL WARRANTY TERMS

Repair or Replacement

Should your watch develop a covered issue, you may return it to us for repair or replacement. If your claim is submitted within 30 days of the original purchase date, there is no charge.

After 30 days, a one-time service fee not exceeding $60 USD may apply if a full replacement is necessary.

 

Ownership and Transferability

Our warranty follows the watch, not just the original buyer. That means the warranty remains valid if the watch changes ownership.

To be eligible, you must provide proof of purchase and retain the original packaging, including the serial tag or authenticity card.

If proof of purchase is not available, the maximum deductible of $60 USD will apply to process your claim.

 

Out-of-Stock Replacements

If your specific model is no longer available or all current stock is sold out, we’ll provide a 100% discount code for a future release. This code will never expire and can be used on any upcoming style. Please note that refunds are not issued under the terms of this warranty.

 

LIMITATIONS & EXCLUSIONS

The following situations are not covered under our warranty:

Lost or stolen items

Damage caused by water, fire, or natural disasters

Battery replacement

Watches missing serial tags or authenticity cards

Normal cosmetic wear and tear, including minor scratches on the case, strap, or crystal

Broken strap pins due to stretching or improper removal

Any damage resulting from misuse, accidents, or neglect—including dents, shattered glass, or deep abrasions
